Legia finished their series of friendly matches at the winter camp in Turkey with a disappointing draw 1:1 (0:1) against the Russian Second Division’s Metallurg Kuzbass Nowokuznetsk. The Russians took the lead on 39 minutes, due to the considerable confusion inside Legia penalty area, resulting in the ball being directed by <b>Aleksandar Vukovic</b> into his own net. On 59 minutes <b>Bartosz Karwan</b> picked up a perfect centre delivered by <b>Tomasz Kielbowicz</b> and headed an equaliser.
Legia were much better team, controlling the game, but lacking effectiveness. After losing the goal, the Polish players retreated into their own half of the pitch and focused on defence.
On Sunday, in the afternoon, Legia return to Warsaw, where they will play their final friendly, against Mazowsze Grojec, ahead of the restart of the Polish Premier League.
