Wednesday meeting between Legia Warszawa and Gornik Zabrze ended in a goalless draw. The first 45 minutes belonged to the visitors who frequently attacked. Some of the best chances of the half fell to <b>Aleksandar Vukovic</b>, finally in a great form, and <b>Marek Saganowski</b>, playing as the lone striker as coach <b>Jacek Zielinski</b> opts for a 4-5-1 formation.
On 41 minutes Michal Karwan fouled Tomasz Sokolowski II in the penalty area, but the referee did not react. After the break the host seized the initiative and Artur Boruc had several opportunities to show his class. Legia players failed to build on their promising display from the first half of the game and the match ended in a draw. It was the sixth ligue game without victory.
