Legia's upset transfers

Bundesliga new boys Arminia Bielefeld have snapped up Polish international Maciej Murawski on a two-year deal.
"I wanted to join Arminia as playing in the Bundesliga provides a big opportunity to make progress in my career," he explained. Murawski was free to negotiate with Arminia as his contract with Legia Warsaw expired at the end of the season. However, the 28-year-old, who flew to Korea with Poland's World Cup squad on Wednesday, admits he's disappointed his old club won't receive a fee."I regret Legia won't get any money, but what can I do?" he asked.
Legia were dealt a further blow this week when Sylwester Czereszewski turned down the offer of a new contract with the Polish champions - a development which could provoke the departure of coach Dragomir Okuka.
The Serbian tactician has repeatedly threatened to quit Legia if his title-wining side is broken up.
That scenario is now staring Okuka in the face as midfielder Czereszewski, another out of contract player, has announced that he plans to continue his career in either Cyprus or the United States.
