Zielinski has a vision

I am glad that our defence has been reinforced. Both Veselin Djokovic and Dickson Choto are back after recoveries. And there is also Jakub Rzezniczak, who in the winter season proved to be valuable player. Jacek Magiera can play as central defender. The right side of the line has been enriched with Pawel Kaczorowski. I insisted on his acquisition. But Tomek Kielbowicz still remains the only the left-wing defender. In my system the wing defenders will participate in the offensive actions as the midfielders. Lukasz Surma is to remain the captain. I have no fears as regards Vukovic. He has already shown his talent. He will play mainly in the centre. The fans will forgive him, because he is a real reinforcement (there were rumours that Vukovic had talks with Wisla Krakow, Legia main competitor for the title). Marcin Smolinski will find his place as well. As far as the forwarders are concerned, I am disappointed with poor form of Piotr Wlodarczyk in the autumn. He is blocked and I don’t know why. But I’m sure that he will meet our expectations in the upcoming season. I am satisfied with Saganowski’s achievements. At the end of the previous season, scoring eight goals, he became eventually effective. We want to qualify for the European Cup this season. I have read the interview with the club president, Piotr Zygo, that he would like Legia to become the Polish Champion in 2007, but no one can prevent us from winning this trophy earlier. My Legia will be strong.
